New version of PySCard: 2.3.2

I just released a new version of pyscard. PySCard is a Python module adding smart cards support (PC/SC) to Python.

The PySCard project is available from:

I removed the distribution from sourceforge. Use PyPI instead. On PyPI you wil get a red alert "Incomplete provenance" for the source code file pyscard-2.3.2.tar.gz. This is because I manually uploaded it using twine (as before). The next release will be uploaded to PyPI by a github action (as is already the case for the binary wheels).

Why this new release?

No code change in this release.

I created a new release to ensure that the binary wheels for Python 3.14 and 3.15 were uploaded to PyPI. This is intended for systems that are difficult to use for rebuilding PySCard, particularly Windows.

Changes:

2.3.2 (October 2026)

  • add builds for Python 3.14 & 3.15

  • Minor changes
